Florida law generally requires care to begin within 14 days of the accident for PIP to cover it (Fla. Stat. 627.736). If this is an emergency, call 911.

Method
Incidents are read from Florida Highway Patrol's public dispatch view once a minute and assigned to a road, city and ZIP from the reported location. Nothing about the people or vehicles involved is collected. Counts are what we observed while collecting, not a census of every accident. When a month ends its figures are frozen, and a later police records release is added once with a note.
