About OK After
A trusted place to start after a car accident.
The hours and days after an accident are confusing. You are sore, you are worried about money, and everyone you call wants something from you. OK After exists so there is one calm place that explains what to do next, in plain words, and asks for nothing.
It is OK to feel shaken.
An accident is frightening, even a small one. What follows lands all at once: a body that hurts in new places a day later, decisions about money and care you have never had to make, and a week that does not look like the one before it.
People told us the hardest part was not any one step. It was not knowing which step came first, while feeling shaken. That is why every page here says what to do next, in order, and nothing else.
What you will find here
Three resources to help
What to do next
The first 14 days in plain words, and how to ask a local clinic to see you this week.
Hurting somewhere?
Soreness after an accident often shows up a day or two later. Each page says what to do in the next 14 days.
Accident and traffic resources
RoadsLive accident reports from Florida Highway Patrol dispatch, by county and by road, updated every minute.
How the clinic program works
Plain and complete
SponsoredA clinic pays OK After a fixed monthly fee for an area. The fee does not depend on any request or visit.
The listing is marked Sponsored on every page it appears, like the tag above.
Every clinic's Florida license is verified before it is listed.
Your request goes to that one clinic and to no one else.
Where the numbers come from
Every accident you see on OK After Roads was read by our own collector, from a public dispatch feed once a minute or from a police record. We count what we observed, never guess, and we never show anything about the people involved.
How we countOur mission
OK After is an independent Florida resource for people who were just in a car accident. We explain what matters in the first 14 days, we show what is happening on the roads right now, and when you want to be seen, you can request an evaluation from a licensed chiropractic clinic in your area that has agreed to call you back.
We are not a clinic and not an insurance company. We do not give medical or legal advice, and we do not sell your information.
Who runs it
OK After was started in 2026 by Brandon Smith, based in Tampa. It grew out of conversations with friends and family who had been in accidents: what they wished someone had told them, and how much of the first two weeks they spent guessing. Brandon built it so the next person has one calm place to start.
